Colombian Foreign Ministry demands the immediate release of deputy Freddy Guevara and condemns harassment against President Guaidó

The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the arbitrary detention of the Legitimate National Assembly’s Deputy, Freddy Guevara, under the orders of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship.

Through a statement, it demanded his immediate release and guarantees for his life.





The Foreign Ministry also condemned the harassment against the President in Charge, Juan Guaidó, and his work team.

“The international community must demand that these arbitrary acts cease, and all political prisoners be released. Our solidarity with Venezuela!” It stated.

This Monday, the President in Charge, Juan Guaidó, was the victim of an attempted kidnapping by unidentified armed subjects of Nicolás Maduro’s regime, who threatened his team with weapons and gagged and tied up his driver in the vicinity of his home.
