Angela Merkel confirmó este lunes que renunciará a la presidencia de su partido de centro-derecha en diciembre y no será candidata a canciller de Alemania cuando finalice su cuarto mandato en 2021.
“Hoy es hora de abrir un nuevo capítulo”, dijo la canciller alemana después de meses de crisis gubernamental y un día después de un nuevo revés electoral en comicios regionales.
